This is a special issue of the Water Resources Coalition Newsletter.  We need your help to urge Congress to include funding for water resources projects in any forthcoming legislation that would create much needed jobs.
Add Your Organization's Name in Support of Water Resources Funding in Jobs Legislation

The Obama Administration and Congress are currently discussing a jobs bill, which would combat the nation's 10.2% unemployment rate.

There are currently billions of dollars in critical infrastructure projects that would be administered by both the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation, therefore the Water Resources Coalition urges Congress to fund the Civil Work Program of the Army Corps of Engineers with at least $4.3 billion and the Bureau of Reclamation with at least $1 billion for water resources projects.

We have agreed to take the lead on a sign-on letter click here to view.  To add your group's name to the list of those supporting water resources funding in a new jobs bill please fill out the SIGN-ON FORM and email or fax it back to ASCE.

The deadline to sign-on to the letter is Thursday, December 10th at 1 p.m. ET.  Our apologies for the short lead time, but we would like to move quickly and show strong support for the requested funding.
Sincerely,

Brian Pallasch and Marco Giamberardino
